At Elite Academy of Excellence Thunder Bay, we firmly believe that a large part of the learning
process at the elementary school level involves harnessing the natural curiosity of
children throughout the learning process.
As children advance through grades 1 to 5, they move from mostly play and
interactivity-based learning to a more formal textbook and workbook-based learning.
Throughout this evolution in their learning, we have leveraged the well-rounded
Ontario curriculum and created many opportunities to fuel children’s desire to ask
questions and be inquisitive.
Children who experience a well-balanced learning environment in these formative
years develop skill sets that prepare them for a lifetime of inclination towards learning
